BSM bond coat sprayers

In close cooperation with our customers we have developed bitumen tack/bond coating machines for optimum layer bonding, joint and flank sealing to meet various requirements for construction site use and processes. The aim is to achieve optimum quality and efficiency with a tack/bond coating machine. By professionals - for professionals.

The schäfer-technic BSM tack/bond coating machines transport, temper and spray all standard road construction bitumen emulsions with a non-hazardous classification.

The bitumen tack/bond coating machines meet all the requirements of the Developer Ordinance and can be configured with tank capacities of up to 12,000 litres and spray widths up to 4.6 m in line with the requirements.

Our more compact machines are also suitable for work on narrow roads and cycle paths.

The correctly metered binding agent quantity is a prerequisite for good layer bonding and a long road surface service life. Metering controls from schäfer-technic provide reliable, fast and precise regulation.
The touch control enables the relevant technical data such as spray quantity, spray pressure, temperature and output area to be automatically retrieved, configured and processed.

BSM types have a huge range of adaptation and customisation options.
Additional unit spaces or tanks for fuels or AdBlue, an expansion for dope/additive spraying on the spray bar or front attachments, e.g. for a sweeper, make schäfer-technic BSM genuine all-rounders on your construction site.

Combination with the schäfer edge spraying device provides additional options: Middle seam spraying or flank sealing can now also be carried out with the tack/bond coating machine.

PREPARATION FOR LAYER BONDING FOR ASPHALT APPLICATION

A secure bond between the individual asphalt layers is a key requirement to ensure asphalt structures have a long service life. A full and permanent bond ensures that the asphalt layer structure can support the required loads in the long term. 

With a wide range of different equipment options for every site size and requirement, schäfer-technic can supply the right machine. As well as bond coat sprayers, SKS machines or a combination are suitable for this kind of method. Bitumen tank trailers transport and store the binding agent.
