In accordance to the publication of the instruction bulletin for “Layer Compound, joints, connections, edge formations of traffic surface constructed of asphalt (M SNAR)” schäfer-technic develops here concepts to perform the standard for a professional asphalt surface installation.
An exact dosage and distribution (spray pattern) of the binder is necessary for an optimal layer compound. The common bonding agents (short designation C1 and C2), set high requirements to the spraying machines.
Bonding agents consist of polymer-modified bitumen emulsion, which must be heated carefully on temperatures between 45°C and 70°C. The schäfer-technic spraying machine performs these requirements and can be constructed according to the requirements with tank capacities from 700 to 5,000 liters. All machines are equipped with a manual spraying device, which is suitable for the spattering of small and difficult bulges or edge formations.
For an efficient application of joint- and edge treatment a special kerb spraying equipment has been developed. For a quick and proper edge and flank spraying on asphalt coatings the equipment can be equipped with an edge nozzle. The edge nozzle is attached in front of the vehicle and is operated by the driver. | |
