The road repair trailer type RZA and RZS developed by schäfer-technic conform to the latest engineering and construction site standards, thereby guaranteeing all goes smoothly when the rubber hits the road. They can handle all standard types of binders as well as hot bitumen and high-grade chippings. The detected areas in need of repair are treated and finished to optimum standards in one user-friendly operation. Only the relevant section of road is sprayed with binder, scattered with chippings and immediately rolled.
The repair tracks are 250 mm or 300 mm depending on the machine model and can be used once up to max. 3.5 m working width.
The machines are characterised by their high level of operating efficiency and wide range of possible uses to achieve surface performances meeting the highest quality standards. The automatic loading facility is a boon on the construction site, enabling the chippings to be taken directly from the tipper truck to the hopper. The machine stays in the same place all the time, vastly increasing its output and efficiency.
The sensor-controlled automatic metering unit allows the required quantities of binder and chippings to be measured out without stinting across the entire working width.Patching or full road surfacing with schäfer-technic’s road repair trailers is environmentally-friendly and causes minimum disruption to traffic. The operation and control panel has been designed with ergonomic concerns in mind, making the machines simple to operate and minimising the risk of accidents.
